Punk Boy

So happy with how this has come out! I wanted to really dive into the clean forms and crisp sculpts that I see coming from people in Dylan Ekren's class and similar styles, so I challenged myself the last month to really delve into that style of artwork.

I used the concept of Summer Special "rock N roll" by Hong SoonSang and chose to create the boy rocker from the image, as I really liked his hair and wanted to capture that strong silhouette!

This was predominantly a study in form and clean sculpting, so it was done entirely in ZBrush and then rendered in Marmoset as a highpoly model with polypaint. I learned a lot while exploring this style of sculpt, and I can't wait to apply it to my future pieces!
